Post-Procedure Instructions

First 48 Hours
- Keep dressing clean and dry on procedure day.
- Remove outer gauze the next day unless told otherwise.
- Avoid vigorous lower-body activity for 48 hours.
- Avoid intense gluteal muscle activity immediately after insertion.
Expected Findings
- Mild site soreness
- Mild redness near incision
- Small bruise at insertion area
Call the Clinic Urgently If You Have
- Increasing redness, warmth, swelling, or drainage
- Fever, chills, or worsening pain after 24-48 hours
- Bleeding that does not stop with firm pressure
- Possible pellet extrusion
